The project

Traffic monitoring and counting, origin/destination surveys, qualitative/quantitative surveys, for all modes of the transport network, both public and private, for Rome Municipality. The scope is to support the identification of suitable solutions for specific mobility issues, inform transport planning as well as monitoring the efficiency of public transport services. Different approaches and technologies are applied (e.g. radars, cameras and image recognition processes, in-field investigations, on-line surveys).
