Objectifs

Set-up, demonstrate and exploit three Hydrogen Valleys (HVs) starting from the implementation of clean, agile and small H2 fueled buses.

The project

HVs are set-up in: historical city of Terni (Umbria Region); port of Civitavecchia (Lazio Region); altopiano delle Rocche (Abruzzo Region). The project aims at (i) building- up the first transregional HVs taking advantage of synergies in H2 production and distribution; (ii) developing a common way a sustainable road Local Public Transport; (iii) implementing integrated local policies and defining regulatory approaches for deployment of H2 dispensing stations and fuel cells vehicles; (iv) increasing circular economy by storing and using H2 waste from local industries like steel and chlorine-soda plants; (v) creating a standard hydrogen mobility management system providing useful data to replicate the project; (vi) raising citizens’ awareness and improving policy commitment to sustainable mobility and air quality.

Our role

We coordinate the awareness rising and dissemination activities. We support the design and implementation of the three demos. We contribute to the analysis of the project results and impacts.
